The internet should be free and open to everyone. Anyone and everyone should be able to access all the content that is available online. Sadly though, this is not always the case. Sometimes you cannot access certain content because the publisher blocked your geographical location or because an institution blocked access to that content. Psiphon fights against this type of censorship – it uses VPN, SSH, and HTTP proxy technology to circumvent online censorship. It helps you access content that you can’t normally access because it is blocked.

Psiphon is available for Google’s Android and for Microsoft’s Windows operating system.
As the developer explained, Psiphon for Windows is a “zero-install” application. This means that if you want to use Psiphon on your Windows-powered machine, you will not have to install anything. You just have to download a small executable (less than 1MB in size) and run it.

When you run Psiphon, it will automatically go to work. A small interface will show up in the lower right hand corner and the application will automatically connect to SSH+. On top of that, your default browser will launch and a couple of websites will be opened.

As mentioned above, Psiphon will automatically connect to SSH+ when it launches. From the simple interface you can choose two other connection options: VPN and SSH.

Don’t miss out on great online content just because it’s blocked or censored. Get Psiphon and it will help you bypass the censorship, it will help you access blocked content.

Pros

Psiphon is available for Android and Windows. The application does not have to be installed on Windows-powered machines (and that makes it portable). Run Psiphon and it will automatically go to work. There are several connection options to choose from: SSH, SSH+, VPN. Psiphon will help you access blocked content.

Cons

None that I could think of.
